Article 1 - COMPANY
PLATEX is a limited liability company (SARL) with a share capital of 365,877.64 euros, whose registered office is located at 1 Boulevard Charles de Gaulle, Hall A - 92700 Colombes, France. PLATEX is registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 302 456 520 (NAF code 4669C and intra-Community VAT number FR 47 302 456 520)
PLATEX is engaged in the import, export, manufacture, and sale of all manufactured goods, with the exception of equipment, and offers an online sales service for these items (hereinafter referred to as “Item(s)”) via its website www.platex.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Store”).
Article 2 - GENERAL PROVISIONS
Only a selection of Retail products is offered for sale. Under no circumstances may products from the Line CHR/institutions and Advertising categories be purchased online atwww.platex.com
The offer and sale of Items to the customer through the Online Store are governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which specify, in particular, the terms for ordering, payment, delivery, handling of any returns of ordered Items, and warranties. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be viewed easily, freely, and at any time by clicking on the “Terms and Conditions” link in the Online Store or upon request to PLATEX. Article 3 - COMMERCIAL POLICY
3.1 By choosing to purchase Items from PLATEX through the Online Store, the customer expressly and irrevocably accepts the terms of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale PLATEX.
3.2 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale take precedence over any other general or specific terms and conditions not expressly approved by PLATEX.
3.3 PLATEX reserves the right to modify its General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The applicable terms and conditions will be those in effect on the date the customer places the order.
Article 4 - CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCTS OFFERED
4.1 The products offered are those listed on PLATEX’s online store.
4.2 These products are offered while supplies last.
4.3 The photographs and descriptions of the products are as accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee a perfect likeness to the actual product, particularly with regard to the color palette and how colors appear on the online store.
In the event of any discrepancy or error—including technical or typographical errors—the Items may be returned to PLATEX in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article 9 of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Article 5 – ORDERING PROCEDURES
5.1 The language available for placing an order for Items on the Online Store is French.
5.2 To place an order for one or more Items on the Online Store, the customer must:
- a) Complete the electronic order form, providing all the information requested in the required fields.
- b) Complete the electronic order form. The order form contains information on the essential characteristics of each Item ordered and the corresponding price (including applicable taxes and fees), the payment methods the customer may use to purchase each Item, and the delivery terms for the Item(s).
- c) Read and accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale
- d) Confirm the order after reviewing it
- e) Select the payment method for their order and enter the payment information
- f) Confirm their order and payment.
- g) The order is not definitively registered until the summary screen for said order is confirmed.
5.3 Upon this confirmation, the order is considered irrevocable and may only be contested under the conditions set forth below.
5.4 The order form will be stored in PLATEX’s computer systems for as long as necessary to ship the order and in compliance with legal retention periods. The customer may access their order form upon request.
5.5 PLATEX will send an email confirming the order. This email will serve as proof of the transaction.
5.6 This order confirmation serves as proof for the customer that the order was placed on the Online Store, and the customer is advised to keep it.
5.7 In the event that the Item(s) ordered and displayed on the Online Store are wholly or partially unavailable after the Customer has placed the order, the Customer will be notified of the cancellation of their order or of a partial delivery within 30 days.
Article 6 - PRICES
6.1 The selling prices of the Items are listed in euros, inclusive of all taxes but excluding shipping costs. Any shipping costs are indicated on the Online Store before the Customer confirms the order.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing by PLATEX.
6.2 The prices of the Items are subject to change at any time. The sales price applicable to the purchase of each Item is the price indicated on the Online Store at the time the order is placed.
6.3 Any change in the value-added tax (VAT) rate will be immediately reflected in the sales price of the Items.
6.4 Any order placed on the Online Store PLATEX may be subject to applicable taxes and customs duties in the country of delivery (outside France). These additional costs associated with the delivery of any Item from the Online Store are the customer’s responsibility and shall be borne by the customer. For further details, please consult the customs website of the country of delivery.
Article 7 - PAYMENT AND INVOICING
7.1 All purchases made on the Online Store are payable at the time of order.
7.2 To pay the purchase price of the ordered Item(s), the customer must use one of the payment methods listed on the order form.
7.3 The payment methods accepted by PLATEX for purchases made on the Online Store are credit card or PayPal.
7.4 PLATEX reserves the right to suspend any order and/or delivery in the event of suspected fraud.
7.5 PLATEX reserves the right to refuse to make a delivery or fulfill an order placed by a customer who has not paid for a previous order in full or in part, or with whom a dispute is pending.
7.6 PLATEX reserves the right to pursue legal action for any fraudulent use or attempted fraudulent use of payment methods.
7.7 PLATEX expressly reserves ownership of the delivered Item(s) until full payment of the price, including principal and interest, has been made.
7.8 The mere presentation of payment instruments does not constitute payment.
7.9 In the event of the customer’s failure to fulfill its payment obligations, for any reason whatsoever, PLATEX shall be entitled to demand the Immediate return of the delivered Item(s) at the customer’s sole expense.
7.10 The invoice for the order will be sent to the customer and may be requested from PLATEX’s customer service department once payment for the order has been received.
Article 8 - DELIVERY TERMS
8.1 Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer on the order form, exclusively within the geographic delivery area offered by the Online Store as indicated at the time of the order.
8.2 Delivery will take place within 15 business days from the date the customer places the order, unless otherwise explicitly stated to the customer on the Online Store prior to the order and its confirmation, particularly regarding summer periods or holidays.
8.3 Delivery is handled by a third-party carrier, PLATEX. The name of this carrier is provided to the customer at the time of ordering.
8.4 Any package that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer at the time of ordering will be reshipped at the customer’s expense.
8.5 If the customer is not present at the time of delivery, the customer will be notified by PLATEX or its delivery service provider.
8.6 Delivery is considered complete upon handover to the customer of the ordered Item(s) in their package at the delivery address provided by the customer on the order form.
8.7 The delivery of the ordered Item(s) will be made in accordance with the terms specified at the time of the order.
8.8 In order to allow PLATEX to seek recourse against its carrier, the customer must notify PLATEX within 15 days if the items arrived damaged upon delivery. In any case, the customer has the right to invoke the legal warranties as described in Article 15 if a damaged item is received.
8.9 The customer must notify PLATEX if the items received do not match the order.
8.10 If one or more of the ordered items are unavailable or if PLATEX is unable to deliver within 15 business days of the order, the customer will be offered a refund for their purchase.
8.11 PLATEX is liable for any risk of loss or damage from the moment the products leave the premises of PLATEX and until their actual delivery.
Article 9 - RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
9.1 The customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal starting from the date of receipt of the entire order placed on the Store.
Receipt of the order is defined as the delivery of the package to the specified address and the physical taking of possession of the goods by the customer or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the customer.
During this period, the customer may return, free of charge and without penalty, any Item(s) that do not meet their expectations.
(a) The returned Item(s) must not have been used, altered, washed, or damaged.
(b) The returned item(s) are still in their original packaging.
(c) The returned items are sent in a single shipment; PLATEX reserves the right to refuse items from the same order that are returned and shipped at different times.
9.2 The customer must notify PLATEX of their intention to cancel within this 14-day period by calling 01 41 92 90 07 (at no additional cost) or by email: info@platex.com
9.3 The customer must then return the item to PLATEX (at the following address: PLATEX Customer Service, 1 Boulevard Charles de Gaulle, Hall A - 92700 Colombes, France) the products in question within a maximum of 14 days from the date of notification of their decision to withdraw.
9.4 The customer is liable only for any depreciation of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the products.
9.5 Effects of withdrawal: If the right of withdrawal is exercised under the conditions defined above, PLATEX will refund, within 30 business days from the date it was notified of the customer’s decision to withdraw, any amounts already received in exchange for the purchase of the Items subject to the right of withdrawal.
This refund may be deferred until PLATEX receives the goods or until the customer has provided proof of shipment of the goods. The date used will then be the earlier of these two events.
9.6. This refund will be made using the same payment method the customer used to place the order, unless a different method has been expressly agreed upon with the customer.

Article 11 - FORCE MAJEURE
PLATEX shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfill its contractual obligations in the event of any circumstance constituting force majeure as defined by the case law of the French courts and preventing the proper fulfillment of orders.
Article 12 - USE OF THE SITE
12.1 All elements of the PLATEX website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of PLATEX.
12.2 No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, redistribute, or use for any purpose whatsoever—even partially—any elements of the website, whether software, visual content, or audio, without the express and explicit written consent of PLATEX.
12.3 Any simple or hypertext link is strictly prohibited without the express and explicit written consent of PLATEX.
Article 13 - ARCHIVING AND EVIDENCE
13.1 PLATEX archives purchase orders and invoices on a secure and durable medium that constitutes a true and accurate copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 1379 of the Civil Code.
13.2 PLATEX’s electronic records shall be considered by the parties as evidence—unless the customer provides evidence to the contrary—of communications, orders, payments, and transactions between the parties.
Article 14 - GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
14.1 These online terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.
14.2 Contracts between PLATEX and customers of the Online Store are governed, in particular, by the Consumer Code in force and the Civil Code in force.
14.3 In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is assigned to the competent French courts, notwithstanding multiple defendants or the joinder of third parties.

For PLATEX, the protection of your data and its confidentiality is a major priority. That is why we are committed to ensuring the highest level of protection for your data in accordance with current regulations on the protection of personal data.
Article 16 – AMENDMENTS TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
16.1 PLATEX reserves the right to amend its General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
16.2 PLATEX indicates the date of the last amendment at the top of its General Terms and Conditions of Sale
.16.3 Only the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in effect and expressly accepted by the customer at the time of placing the order apply to said order.
16.4 An order cannot be placed on the Online Store without prior acceptance of the current General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as indicated in Section 5.2.
